About us

We educate the
creatorsof tomorrow.

ROBOT SCHOOL is an educational institution for digital skills. Since 2019 we have been helping children, teenagers and young adults aged 6 to 18 not just to consume technology, but to understand it, shape it themselves and question it critically – on site in the Rhine-Main region and online.

Since2019committed to digital education – based in Steinbach, active in the Rhine-Main region and online

Why we exist

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”
Alan Kay, computer scientist and computing pioneer

The world speaks new languages.

Children and teenagers are growing up in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms and AI – often without understanding how they work.

School can’t keep up.

Rigid curricula meet a world that is constantly changing. In between, a gap opens up between what is learned and what will be needed tomorrow.

We close this gap.

Where digital education at school stops today, we begin: hands-on, age-appropriate and with genuine enthusiasm for STEM.

Our story

From 2019 to today.

Since 2019 we have been teaching children and teenagers how the digital world works – and how they can shape it themselves.

  1. 2019
    The beginning

ROBOT SCHOOL starts with its first courses for children – programming with Scratch, first robots and electronics.

  2. 2020
Our first location in the Rhine-Main region

With its own premises, ROBOT SCHOOL gets a permanent home – for workshops, holiday camps and courses on site.

  3. 2020/21
    Online across the German-speaking world

During the pandemic we teach live online – children and teenagers keep learning with us, wherever they live.

  4. School
    Digital clubs at schools

Weekly digital clubs at state and private schools – with our own trainers and complete equipment.

  5. Technology
    From Scratch to Java

The programme grows: HTML, C, Python and Java, plus robotics, new media, 3D printing, electrical engineering, microcontrollers and Arduino.

  6. Business
    Partner to business

Girls’ Days, workshops and holiday camps for large, well-known companies in the Rhine-Main region.

  7. 2024
Pop-up locations in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt

We go to the big cities: with pop-up locations in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt we bring our courses even closer to families.

  8. 2026
    Over 2,500 digital heroes

More than 260 holiday programmes, over 75 partner schools and organisations – and over 100 trainers involved since the start.

  9. 2027
    The Learning Journey launches

Our core programme for AI and robotics launches – live online, from Kiel to Zurich and from Vienna to Cologne.

Our motivation

Education for the digital world

We specialise in teaching digital skills. With us, young people learn to master the challenges of the digital age together – with creativity, team spirit and logical thinking.

Our approach

Encourage and challenge

Instead of rigid content, we rely on projects that evolve with the world. We specifically encourage and challenge in STEM topics – from the first steps with learning robots to their own AI application.

Our goal

Shaping responsibly

We teach the knowledge and skills to become a responsible and creative part of the digital world. Enjoyment of learning and practical application always come first.

What children learn at ROBOT SCHOOL.

Six principles run through all courses, workshops, camps and the Learning Journey.

01

Interdisciplinarity

All learning content is based on cross-disciplinary questions – which encourages joined-up thinking.

02

Love of experimenting

Learning means experiencing: by tinkering, young people discover their own solutions.

03

Reflection

Technology is everywhere. That makes it all the more important to use tools and AI consciously and critically.

04

Creative work

Modern applications offer enormous freedom of expression. We show how your own ideas become real projects.

05

Practical relevance

Writing programs, designing 3D models, combining mechanics and electronics – that’s how a real maker mindset develops.

06

Cooperation

Achieving everything together: teamwork and treating each other with empathy are our priority.
